The credit policy
Audit fee credited. If you upgrade, you pay no penalty for starting small.
- Audit → Plan: Plan invoice deducts the audit fee in full.
- Audit → Build: Build invoice deducts the audit fee in full.
- 90-day window: credit applies for 90 days after the audit walkthrough.
- No claw-back: if we tell you to skip AI, the audit fee is what you paid for the conversation.

What about retainers, hourly, custom scopes?
Direct answers. The marketing version is in someone else’s deck.
Why don't you do retainers?
Retainers are how consultancies get paid for not solving problems. Our model — fixed price per deliverable — means we make money by shipping, not by staying. Most clients don't need ongoing engagement after the Build runbook lands. If you genuinely want monthly tune-ups (eval refreshes, new prompts, new integrations), the optional retainer exists, but it's never required and never bundled.
Why not bill hourly?
Hourly creates a bad incentive on both sides. We bill faster than we should; you worry every email is being clocked. Fixed prices mean you know exactly what you're paying before any work starts, and we focus on shipping the answer instead of logging hours.
What does 'audit fee credited' actually mean?
If you pay $80 for an audit and decide to move to Plan ($150 for your scope), you pay $70. If you move to Build, the entire $80 is credited. The credit applies for 90 days after the audit walkthrough — long enough for you to think, short enough that we can plan our pipeline.
Why is the Build price range so narrow ($300–$750)?
Because the catalog is single-workflow only. A workflow with 1–2 integrations and existing tools lands at the floor; one with 4+ integrations, custom review queues, and edge-case handling lands at the top. Multi-workflow rollouts and custom internal tools are quoted separately on a free 20-minute call — we don't shoehorn them into the catalog.
What tools will you recommend?
Whatever fits. Most often: Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT, Codex, Zapier, n8n, Make, Whisper, Notion AI, Cursor. Sometimes none of those — sometimes the right answer is a Google Sheet and a calendar reminder. We don't have an affiliate program. We don't get paid by any vendor.
What if the workflow is bigger than the catalog?
We'll tell you on the scoping call. Multi-workflow rollouts, white-label work for agencies, custom internal tools — all quoted separately, fixed-price, with a one-page proposal. We don't surprise-invoice the difference at the end.
